Hi Arturo,

There have been a few things happening in the background recently. I'll be posting more to the site in the next few weeks. In the meantime, I'll email you directly... a coffee sounds great.

Hi Mark,

I came across your site as I'm doing some research about establishing a co-working space on a inner-western Melbourne suburb. Just wondering if the project is still on your mind and maybe we could grab a coffee and have a chat some time.

btw, you've got pretty useful information in here.

cheers,
Arturo

Hi There,

I read with pleasure the reference to co-working spaces. I am the GM of a co-working space in CBD Sydney, namely "The Ark Workspace".

We are an open plan, co-working environment that suits creative, non-corporate type industry.

Please contact me if you have any opportunities that we can discuss further. My details are: jgh@thearkworkspace.com.au

Many Thanks,

Hi Bret,

No, there's nothing happening at that place. I drive by regularly and they haven't done any work that I can see.

Marc
Thanks for putting into words what many of us in the coworking community have visioned. We just opened C4 Workspace in San Antonio Texas and if half these things would happen we would be a smashing success.
Much luck with the space.
Cheers!

I fully subscribe to this way of working, or more accurately, enjoying work. I think the 10 indicators of success are truly reflecting what you are setting out to achieve. I'm pretty sure big corporations will be looking very closely at these environments in 5 years time to see how they can apply them to their own organisation.

Hi Brian,

Thanks for stopping by, and for your kind words.

I get a lot of inspiration from reading about the experiences of leaders in the coworking movement like yourself, and its great to know that I'm on the right track in my thinking.

Marc.

Marc, this is a great post--we think the same way at betahouse in Cambridge, MA and when we tell our story, many of the successes we brag about match the goals you've listed here.

We wish you all the best as you ramp up your community and find your space!
